This is a Volunteer role with Saxongate, Huntingdon, Papworth Trust.
Papworth Trust is a leading disability charity. Our mission is to support disabled people to have equality, choice and independence in their lives.
You will be driving disabled people from Papworth, Cambridgeshire to Huntingdon and various places such as wild life parks, museums, shopping centres, cinemas and other local attractions. You will be working alongside project workers to support disabled people to access the community and engage in social events.
We need people on all days of the week 9.30-12.30, 12.30 - 16.00 but are especially looking for drivers on a Friday.
You will ideally be available 3-4 hours per week for a minimum of 12 weeks. MIDAS trained drivers are preferred but we are able to give any necessary training and out of pocket expenses are reimbursed. This is a vital service and enables those that cannot always access public services to join the local community and enjoy them!
